I hate the fact that you have to have a bodyguard, but I know you need one. Sorry I’m not really expressing this the way I need to, but hope you understand what I mean. I just don’t want you to have to live your life in a fish bowl so da speak.

So true. But for his protection and to have someone carry his bag, he needs a bodyguard esp if he’s in a foreign country. His bodyguard could be his friend, secretary, bag carrier, reminder, social secretary, security guard, tour guide, navigator, photographer, gopher, food handler, and many other things. So a bodyguard is important. In other words, he is an assistant as well. Don’t you think this is correct? Lol.

@lotus6000 I understand what you are saying. You wish Rain could be famous but be able to live his life open and free like we can. I agree but unfortantly he is super famous and this ia a necessary procaution for his protection.

I will say the bodyguard look very happy to guarding Rain. I would be happy to because that would mean I would be near him at all times.

@Felisshi and Flower, Guess I need to watch better what I say or the simplest things will be jump on… And of course I know this Man needs bodyguards hahahaha I mean REALLY! The point I was trying to make was remember MJ (RIP) the man couldn’t even walk down a street without being mobbed well if your familiar with Prince or Cher they can at least walk around their home towns without bodyguards and I’m hopping JiHoon will get the same respect from people in his home so he can at least breath without someone up his butt. if you know wthat I mean…..

You’re right. Imagine Rain not being able to walk freely in his own city. Korean fans are overzealous too.

@Lotus, Hey lady….you know I have to put my “two cents” in here….(SMILES). I guess it’s a combination of things, whether you need a bodyguard or not. Mainly, those who are super famous like Bi, do unfortunately live in a fish bowl. I look at the late Princess Diana, for example….it was crazy for her and also the late Michael Jackson as was mentioned before. I also look at other celebrities like Beyonce who is also super famous now as well and gets the same type of attention. All of whom had to have bodyguards. I don’t know, it seems people just lose all sense of decorum when they see celebrities of their caliber. I have such empathy for Bi, because how on earth is he ever going to find someone to share his life….such as it is? Sure there will be a lot of takers, but to live under such scrutiny and pressure all the time….

But you know another observation I have made is that the super famous are usually super “driven” celebs like Bi and they all, at varying times, become internationally known and that’s where this real “fish bowl” life comes into being. They are also celebs who seem outwardly introverted. On stage they are “BEASTS” when they perform, but off stage they are introverts (seemingly) and people are so intrigued by the mysteriousness. They want to know more, more, more and push, push, push to get them to open up. Celebs like Cher don’t mince their words….she tells you like it is. She tells you about her business, so there’s not as much for fans to clamor for. So the “need to know” is not as great with her and celebs like her, even though she is a huge star. Prince….well I can’t explain him…(SMILES), he’s an introvert and still doesn’t get bothered as much, but he’s not always out and about as some others are either.

So to me it’s a combination of accessibility, intrigue and mystery that creates a voracious need to know, so a bodyguard will alway be necessary for the super famous. Unfortunately……
