Two pictures showing Rain taking a snapshot of himself with the uniform of an air-force officer on and posing for a camera with actor ‘O Dahl Soo’, have been opened to the public, which has become the talk of the town.

On the 13th, Rain posted some pictures on his Twitter, posting something to the site, “Today is the day for me to wear the full costume…^^ (the uniform of an air-force officer) It seems like yesterday that we started shooting the movie, but many scenes are being filmed already !!! It’s that Time of the year again! (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

Time is holding its annual online poll to find the most influential person in the world! Sadly, Stephen Colbert is only tied for no. 30 right now, but Rain (Bi) is back on the top of the list! He’s really becoming more famous for being on the Time 100 rather than anything else, but hey – whatever it takes right?

Interestingly, he’s currently being followed by Jay Chou, another mega-star in Asia. Is it going to be China or Korea? We’ll find out on April 14th, when voting ends!

(Just in case you’re saddened by the people topping this list, at no. 5 is Cheng Yen, the “Chinese Mother Teresa,” and just missing the top 10 are the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant workers, who have been lauded for their work at Japan’s damaged nuclear power plant.

Rain was such a tease, and we’re not talking about the weather.

Well, if you insist, it was cloudy in the afternoon and drizzled at one point but the only rain that mattered at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) on April 10 was the Korean kind.

Jung Ji-hoon a.k.a. Rain teased and charmed the crowd at the after race concert with his sexy yet adorable antics.
For instance, the 28-year-old deliberately made a show of wiping himself with a towel after saying that he loves Malaysia “but it is so warm here.” When the crowd screamed for him to throw the towel into the audience, he cheekily made an attempt to wipe his armpit (!), to the mock disgust of the audience.

04.09.11 [Allkpop] Rain Sues Drama Production Company For Unpaid Wages From “Fugitive”

On April 8th, Rain reportedly filed a lawsuit against drama production company ‘D‘ for unpaid wages from his stint with KBS’s “Fugitive: Plan B“. The star alleges that the company owes him $396,000 USD for his work with the drama.

“My contract with the production company specifically stated that I was to receive $50,000 USD per episode for a total of 16 episodes and get paid the tax-added value later,” said Rain. “But I’ve only been paid my contract fee – $320,000 USD – and a second payment of the same amount. I was not paid the remaining $160,000 USD, as well as payments for the extra four episodes I appeared in, rounding out the total to $396,000 USD.”

Rain continued, “I was asked to appear for the extra episodes without getting paid first, but I didn’t want to disappoint the viewers by rejecting the offer. I agreed to the extra episodes and finished the finale. The very next day, I even received proof of payment from the company, but they did not keep their promise.”

Last December, co-star Lee Na Young also filed a lawsuit against the production company for not getting paid for her appearance in the first episode.

Hallyu superstar Rain is currently leading the ‘TIME 100 poll for 2011‘. He’s already won the distinction back in 2007, beating out comedian Stephen Colbert, which incited Colbert to lead some hilarious dance-offs.

Rain is facing some stiff competition this year, as he’s being closely followed by Taiwanese singer/songwriter/director Jay Chou.  Some other notables on the list include Susan Boyle, Julian Assange, the Fukushima Daiichi plant workers, and Wisconsin’s “Fab 14″ state senators.

This year’s vote closes on April 14th, so be sure to vote before then!

KeyEast, AMENT, Star J Entertainment, SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment will be joining forces to create a huge Asian management agency named ‘United Asia Management‘!

This joint investment corporate body was created out of an effort to develop an industry that will push ‘Hallyu’ to ‘Asianlyu’. United Asia Management aims to pioneer a global market, and all artists under the six agencies will be under a database system that manages intellectual property rights. A new contents production system will be utilized as well for movies, dramas, and other media. UAM will also be acting as the global agency for artists planning to advance, or currently promoting in, overseas.

On April 8th, the CEO of KeyEast Entertainment, Yang Geun Hwan, stated, “Using the experience each company has in advancing overseas, we will be bringing together each company’s business know-hows and network systems as the base for our new agency. We are looking forward to this collaboration in creating a synergistic effect for the advancement of not only Korea’s entertainment industry, but Asia as well.”

UAM will be officially established as of April 2011, and will be the new home to artists such as Jang Dong Gun, Hyun Bin, Shin Min Ah, Bae Yong Joon, Kim Hyun Joong, BoA, Lee Yeon Hee, Goo Hye Sun, Big Bang, Rain, 2PM, miss A, the Wonder Girls, and many others.

According to Semperoper’s homepage on the 8th, singer Rain and German cellist ‘Jan Vogler’ will give a combined concert called “Dresden Music Festival Concert : Rain & Vogler” at Semperoper opera house in Dresden, Germany, on May 19th, at 9:00pm.
